I'm all for a story that takes place in the north woods, but reading this book is like watching some sort of grand adventure on fast forward. You never know whats going on, there is no character development, no elaboration. There are tons of editing errors like missing quotations on lines of speech. Every animal is named and in a clunky way so you just have a list of names with no character behind them. The focus completely leaves the main character 'foster fox'.

This could have been a great story if it had actually been written out as a proper novel. It looks more like a brief list of ideas for one. Very jumbled and confusing.

It would be a really good story if it were more polished, I can see where it was headed. As it stands it's a bit confusing when you read through it the first time.

I did receive a free copy for the review.
First of all, the wording, grammar and sentence structure of the story is so pathetic that most of the story is incomprehensible. The entire novel reads as one garbled text message, which is entirely inappropriate for the premise of the story. The story is very rushed and feels contrived with its ending; there is no elaboration or action, just a list of events that make little sense. The main character, the titular fox, is almost completely irrelevant to the story; he seems to vanish halfway through it and the reader never finds out what happened to the poor little guy. If you like complete stories, hell, even coherent thoughts, do NOT waste the twenty minutes it takes to read on this "book".
What do I say? At first I felt like I was getting a history lesson but then realized that was not the case. I started reading further and thought I was reading a children's story but that was not the case. As I continued to read the story took shape. This is a story of reaching your destiny and fulfillment of a prophecy. Writer uses animals to tell a story that catches your attention after reading for a bit.

I gave this story three stars for the slow start and statements made earlier in review. This was a read that I can say left me a little confused but after rereading understood the message.
